Today we will be going over stores and their loyalty cards. If you haven't figured out yet couponing is all about matching sales with coupons. Some stores have just awesome sales and some have it set up where they'll give you money back to use on your next purchase.
I will be posting a link to each store's coupon policy. I would recommend you print it off and stick it in your binder for times where you just aren't sure the cashier is correct and you may need to remind them of their own coupon policy.
I love getting cash back. I just roll it over to the next week. And if I think I may forget I just set a reminder in my phone for the day before it expires so I'll be sure to use it.
CVS:

CVS is my favorite store! It seems like they always has the best deals and I'm not going to lie there's days where I go to just about every one in Desoto County getting my deals! The best thing about CVS is the ECB (Extra Care Bucks), their rain check policy and the MAGIC coupon machine!
Extra Care Bucks: Next time you go to CVS just tell them you need to get an Extra Care Buck's card. They will give you a card and you can register it online. Make sure you use your correct number (if you lose your card or forget it you can still earn rewards) and email (they will send you emails with free money!!). The card is completely free. Every time you make a purchase make sure the cashier scans your card. Not only does it give you the in store deals and give you your ECBs but it will also keep track of your spending. You also earn 2% back on all your purchases which you get refunded in ECBs quarterly.
ECB are coupons that print out on the bottom of your receipt when you make a qualifying purchase. They are advertised in the weekly ad.
Magic Coupon Machine: The extra care coupon center aka Magic coupon machine is located inside every CVS usually at the front of the store. It is also a prince scanner. Make sure EVERY time you come into a CVS you scan your card because it will give you new coupons every day! Also, make sure you scan it multiple times until it says there are no more left for that day. Coupons vary by customer so you never know what your going to get!
Rainchecks: This is another great thing about CVS. Anytime they are out of something they will write you a raincheck. If the item is a sale item and your supposed to get ECBs back they will put that on the rain check so that when it does come in stock you can still get the deal with the ECBs. Also, they do not have an expiration date! You can also use a manufacture coupon and store coupon in addition to your rain check.
Riteaid:
Click HERE to view and print Rite Aid's coupon policy.
Wellness + Card: Just like with CVS RiteAid has a loyalty card. You can get one from the cashier next time you go. Be sure to register your card online so you can keep track of your rewards.
Video Values: Once you sign up your RA card online and are logged into your account you can go watch video values (aka adperk videos). They are short commericals that you can watch to get a coupon for that item. You can either print that video then or just save it to your account and print whenever your ready. But don't forget that they can only be printed once. They are store coupons so they can be stacked with another manufacturer coupon.
Up + Rewards: +Up rewards are very familiar to CVS's. They can be used on a future shopping order. They are listed in the weekly ad. When you purchase the required product it loads it onto your card. At the bottom of your receipt it will tell you how much was loaded and when they expire.
Walgreens:
Click HERE to view Walgreen's coupon policy.
Register Rewards: Walgreens has a promotional checkout-coupon program which is called Register Rewards. It is a long receipt like coupon that prints after you make a qualifying purchase. You can use these on your next purchase. Look through your ad to find out which items will give you back a RR.
Monthly Savings Booklet: Each month Walgreens has a coupon booklet found near the entrances by the ads. These coupons are considered store coupons so you can stack them with manufacter coupons. They expire at the end of the month. Usually, if you are buying 2 of the same item and there is a coupon in the booklet for it just show it to the cashier and she will scan it once. It will apply the coupon twice.
Coupon to Item Ratio: One thing that is hard to get used to at Walgreens is the coupon to item ratio. The cash register will not allow the cashier to accept more manufacturer coupons than total products purchased. Since RRs are considered manufacture coupons sometimes it can get tricky. If your purchasing 5 itmes and using 5 manufacterer coupons and a RR the cash register will not be happy and it will reject your 6th coupon. So, to fix this problem just use a "filler" item like a pack of gum or something cheap.
Balance Rewards Points: Walgreens points program is similar to RR. When you buy a qualifying purchase it will load points onto your Walgreens card for your next purchase. You can redeem these in the amounts in the chart above. MAKE SURE when you get your receipt you get the points you were supposed to get! These do not expire as long as you use your card atleast once every 6 months.
Target:
Click HERE to view Target's coupon policy.
Target Store Coupons: Store coupons can be found in Sunday inserts, mailers, and coupons printed from www.target.com . These are store coupons so you can use them with a manufacturer coupon to get the maximum savings.
Mobile Coupons: You can sign up to receive Target mobile coupons HERE. They send mobile coupons to your phone about twice per month. When you check out you just show the cashier your phone and they will scan the bar code. They can be stacked with other manufacturer coupons.
Gift Card Promotions: Often Target runs gift card promos in their ads. When items are part of that promo you can stack a manufacturer and store coupon on the item and still get your gift card at then end of your transaction to use on your next shopping trip!
Cart Wheel App: Click HERE to visit target's cart wheel app. You sign up through your Facebook account. Once you selected the items you'd like on your cartwheel you can print it out and bring it with you to the store for your cashier to scan.
Kroger:
As I'm sure most of you know Kroger no longer doubles coupons. I love my Kroger Plus Card! Not only does it save money on groceries but there is so much more! You can earn points to get discount on gas (at Kroger or Shell stations). It also keeps up with products you buy all the time and they will send you coupons in the mail! (I just got my coupons in the mail Tuesday and I had a free eggs and free Mayonnaise one!)
Well now there is even more! If you download the Kroger app to your phone (or go to the Kroger website on a computer) you can add e-coupons directly to your Kroger card. This is great if you forget to print a coupon or you get to the store and you realize you don't have a coupon for a particular product. You can just open the app on your phone and search through the coupons to see if there is one you can add straight to your card. Once you scan your card at check out and finish checking out, all of your coupons will come off when they push total!
